She had the seating chart figured out for the wedding, but not knowing the place the rehearsal dinner would be held diminished her capability to arrange a chart.

This would be much less formal and would be relatively easy to plan. The fellowship area was open that day. We called two delis and ordered catering. My niece called her fiance and told him the new plans for the rehearsal dinner. He thought this sounded great. He would make preparations to have a pal of his tend bar and would arrange for the drinks.
The rehearsal dinner was a pleasant relaxed evening. The guests were able to visit and mingle and the bride and groom didn't feel the need to sit in one spot while everybody ordered their food and had it served. With having a buffet line the ambiance was very casual and the out of town guests did not have to try to find another site in an area that they were not familiar with.
